The Amaharashi Coast in Noto Peninsula Quasi-National Park is a scenic spot known for its white sands, green pines, and rocky reefs. Selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Beaches, it offers rare views of the 3,000-meter Tateyama Mountain Range across Toyama Bay. Visit the "Yoshitsune Rock," where Minamoto no Yoshitsune is said to have waited for a rain shower to pass, giving the area its name. You can access the coast via a 5-minute walk from Amaharashi Station on the JR Himi Line. Free parking is available for 18 cars. The best time to visit is during the autumn and winter months for clear views of the mountains.
