Sainokawara, located above the Gangarana holes on the Moriyama Coast, is steeped in legend and tradition, said to have been opened by Jikaku Daishi. This site features stone monuments and offers scenic views of the Sea of Japan. It's a place of quiet reflection and historical significance, marked by small stone towers and a somber atmosphere. Accessible via a short walk from a parking area off Route 101, it's a worthwhile stop after visiting the Shirakami Juniko Twelve Lakes. Be aware that the path to Sainokawara involves a bit of a climb, so comfortable shoes are recommended. The site is particularly known for its views of the Gonō Line railway and the Senbokuiwa Tunnel.
