Overview

The Kurayoshi Line Railway Memorial Hall commemorates the former Kurayoshi Line. Located a short walk from the Shirakabe Dozogun (white-walled storehouse district), the museum features a preserved steam locomotive and a diesel engine. Inside, visitors can explore photographs and artifacts from the railway's history. The site, once the location of the old Kurayoshi Line's Utchibuki Station, now serves as a park with exhibits that offer a glimpse into the region's railway heritage. The museum is free to enter, and visitors turn on the lights upon entry and off upon exit. It's an ideal spot for railway enthusiasts and those interested in local history.
