The Chichibu Night Festival, one of Japan's three major float festivals, is a vibrant celebration held annually on December 2nd and 3rd near Chichibu Shrine. This grand festival features elaborately decorated floats and portable shrines parading through the streets, reaching its climax on the 3rd with the powerful ascent of the floats up the steep Dangozaka slope. The festival includes a dazzling display of fireworks. Located in Saitama Prefecture, the festival is easily accessible, a 20-minute walk from Seibu-Chichibu Station or a 3-minute walk from Chichibu Station.
