Kochouzenji Temple, located in Minami Alps City, Yamanashi Prefecture, is the family temple of Lady Ooi, mother of the famous warlord Takeda Shingen. The temple features a stunning garden designed by Muso Kokushi, renowned for his work at Kyoto's Tenryu-ji Temple. Though partially destroyed by fire in the Taisho era, the temple retains its historical significance and boasts magnificent autumn foliage. Visitors can explore Lady Ooi's memorial tower and admire the ancient Japanese juniper trees planted around the guest hall. It is accessible by bus from Kofu Station. The pamphlet costs ¥100.
