The Yuhigaoka Rest Area is a scenic roadside stop on Route 136, between Minami-Izu's Matsuzaki and Irozaki areas. It offers panoramic views of the Suruga Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and the Izu Peninsula's rugged coastline. On clear days, visitors can spot Mount Fuji. The rest area features a viewpoint, parking, and a small shop (currently closed). It's a great place to take a break, enjoy the views, and capture memorable photos, especially during sunset. The rest stop also features monkey statues, a nod to the nearby Monkey Bay.
