Okushiobara Motoyu is a hot spring area nestled in Nasushiobara, Tochigi Prefecture, about a 30-minute drive from the central Shiobara Onsen area. This secluded spot features three ryokans (traditional Japanese inns): Daidekan, Ebisya, and Motoizumikan, each offering unique hot spring experiences with sulfurous waters sourced directly from the hot spring. Ebisya is a more rustic inn, while Motoizumikan is the largest of the three. Visitors can enjoy the sounds of the river and the natural surroundings. Note that there are limited shops in the immediate vicinity.
