Mufu-an is a relocated and restored traditional Japanese house with a thatched roof, originally from Obara Village (now Toyota City). It once belonged to Tatsukichi Fujii, an artist associated with modern art and crafts. Now serving as a free gallery and rest area, Mufu-an offers visitors a glimpse into traditional architecture and local art. Managed by volunteers, you might even be offered tea while you explore. Located a 10-minute walk from Owari Seto Station on the Seto Line, it's a peaceful retreat where you can admire the building's craftsmanship and the displayed artwork. The gallery is open from 10 AM to 3 PM, so plan your visit accordingly. The surrounding area offers views of Seto's townscape from its elevated position.
