Lake Sakura (Miharu Dam) is a multipurpose dam constructed on the Ōtakine River, offering visitors a blend of natural beauty and recreational opportunities. Located in Miharu Town, Fukushima Prefecture, it's easily accessible by car, just 15 minutes from the Funabiki-Miharu Interchange on the Ban-etsu Expressway. The lake is surrounded by attractions like the Miharu Dam Museum, observation points, Sakura Park, and an outdoor theater. Known for its stunning views and the iconic Haruta Bridge, Lake Sakura is particularly beautiful during cherry blossom season, when over 2,300 cherry trees bloom around the lake.
