The Shin Yanagawara Power Plant, located in Unazuki Onsen Morishita, Kurobe City, Toyama Prefecture, is a unique attraction resembling a European castle. Easily accessible by car from the Kurobe IC on the Hokuriku Expressway (15km towards Unazuki Onsen on the Asahi Unazuki Line), it's best viewed from the Kurobe Gorge Railway. As the train temporarily stops at Yanagibashi Station (no passenger access), you'll have an excellent view of this impressive, castle-like structure. For the best photo opportunities, try the return journey or view it from across Lake Unazuki.
