Goshiki Falls, located in the Okubuki area on the northwestern slopes of Mount Ibuki, is a stunning cascade on the upper reaches of the Anegawa River in Maibara, Shiga Prefecture. This graceful waterfall stretches 50 meters in length and 30 meters in width, gliding over a massive granite bedrock in a flared shape. There are two routes to reach the falls: one that meanders upstream along the creek, passing smaller waterfalls, and another direct path from the upper side. For a more immersive experience, take the loop route from the downstream side, but be sure to wear non-slip shoes as you'll need to cross the stream. A visit to Goshiki Falls offers a refreshing escape into nature's beauty.
