The Former Date County Office, a nationally designated Important Cultural Property, stands as a symbol of Koori Town. Constructed in 1883, this pseudo-Western-style building features stone foundations and a central tower. Visitors can admire its architectural details and learn about its historical significance. Note that the interior is currently closed for renovations. It's a 20-minute walk from Koori Station or a 5-minute drive from the Date-Koori Interchange. The surrounding garden is especially beautiful in spring when the cherry blossoms are in bloom.
