The Yokokurayama Natural Forest Museum, designed by renowned architect Tadao Ando, is located in Kochi Prefecture near Tengu Highlands. It offers visitors a chance to explore the geological history of Yokokurayama, one of Japan's oldest geological sites, and learn about rare plants loved by Dr. Tomitaro Makino, as well as the history of Ochi. The museum features exhibits on fossils, flora, and fauna, including a Triceratops skull fossil and a diorama of an old Japanese oak tree. It is accessible by bus from Sagawa Station. Open to all ages, with discounted admission for seniors, it's a great place to visit in the afternoon.
