The Chizu Fire Corps Honmachi Branch Station is a nationally registered cultural property located in the Chizu district, across from the Ishitani Residence. Built in 1941, this Western-style, two-story wooden building features a fire tower, a unique architectural element from pre-war fire facilities. While it's an active fire station, the second floor sometimes hosts exhibitions, such as local festival photos, and offers a rest area with public restrooms. Visitors can enjoy views of the historic Chizu post town, including the Ishitani Residence, from the second floor.
