Iwate Kogen Snow Park is a ski resort located in Shizukuishi, Iwate, offering a variety of slopes for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. The park features four long courses accessible from the gondola summit station, as well as ungroomed and family-friendly areas. Getting here is easy with options including a 35-minute drive from the Morioka IC, or shuttle bus from Morioka Station (reservations required). The center plaza includes restaurants and a kids' room. Open from December to April, a one-day pass costs ¥5500.
