Yoitsukigama Pottery in Aizu Misato is known for its unique indigo Gosu and glaze, with all designs, including geometric patterns and floral motifs, meticulously hand-painted. The studio showcases hundreds of everyday-use items, featuring the persimmon design as its signature. Located a 20-minute walk from Aizu-Hongo Station on the JR Tadami Line, or a 10-minute drive from Minami-Wakamatsu Station on the Aizu Railway, it's also accessible from the Niitsuru Smart IC (ETC only). Visitors can enjoy pottery making (Tebineri) from ¥1,300 or painting experiences from ¥700. Note that the shop has irregular hours.
