Located within the Hitoyoshi Castle grounds, the Hitoyoshi Castle History Museum showcases the history of Hitoyoshi Castle and the Sagara clan, who ruled the area for approximately 700 years. Exhibits include artifacts, historical documents, and a scale model of the castle. A highlight is the reconstructed stone-walled cellar with a well, discovered on the site of Sagara Kiyoemon's residence. Please note that the museum is currently closed due to flood damage, but the 100 Fine Castles of Japan stamp is still accessible. Check for reopening updates before planning your visit.
