Bitchu Matsuyama Castle, also known as the "castle in the sky," is a must-see destination in Takahashi, Okayama. As one of Japan's only remaining mountaintop castles with an original keep, it offers breathtaking views, especially during the cloud sea season from September to April. Reach the castle via a combination of bus or taxi to the 8th station, followed by a 20-minute walk.
