Mount Ryuo Park, located on a hill overlooking the Seto Inland Sea in Sanyo-Onoda City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, offers panoramic views extending to Kyushu and Shikoku. Known for its 10,000 cherry trees that bloom in spring, the park hosts an annual cherry blossom festival. It also features an auto campground with individual sites equipped with water and AC power. Visitors can enjoy a large dragon-themed playground, hiking trails through historical sites, and a scenic overlook. The park is also a habitat for fireflies in June and the Asagimadara butterfly in September and October. Accessible by bus from JR Sanyo Main Line Onoda Port Station, it's a great spot for families and nature lovers.
