The Hojo Soun Statue is located in the rotary of the west exit of Odawara Station. This impressive statue commemorates Hojo Soun, a prominent military commander who played a significant role in the history of the Odawara region during the Sengoku period. The statue depicts Hojo Soun on horseback, accompanied by a bull with torches attached to its horns, referencing his famous "fire bull" strategy used to capture Odawara Castle. It's a striking landmark and a great photo opportunity right outside the station. The statue is easily accessible upon exiting the Shinkansen side of Odawara Station.
