Seiganji Temple, the family temple of the Ogi-Nabeshima clan, features a distinctive Chinese-style gate resembling a dragon palace, built in 1852. The temple grounds house approximately 200 stone statues of the Five Hundred Arhats, crafted by the Hirakawa Tokubei family during the mid-Edo period, each with unique expressions. Visitors can explore the graves of the Nabeshima family in the back. The temple is accessible via the scenic Yamanobe-no-Michi trail from Suga Shrine, making it a pleasant walk through temples and historical sites. Best visited during the day to appreciate the intricate details of the statues and architecture.
