The Iwaki City Art Museum is one of Japan's largest municipal art museums, easily accessible in the government district. It features a collection of around 800 works, primarily postwar art by artists from or associated with Iwaki, as well as pieces depicting the city. The museum includes a gallery space with excellent acoustics and is designed to be welcoming to all visitors. Located a 15-minute walk from Iwaki Station or a 10-minute drive from the Iwaki Central Interchange, it's open from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM (until 8:00 PM on Fridays in July and August). Admission to the permanent exhibition is ¥220 for adults.
