Kiyotaki is a scenic waterfall located in Otaki Village, Kiso District, Nagano Prefecture, nestled in the foothills of Mount Ontake. Situated at an altitude of over 1000 meters, Kiyotaki offers a refreshing escape even in summer. The falls are a short 10-minute walk from the parking area, and you may even witness practitioners of the Ontake religion performing waterfall purification rituals. In winter, the falls freeze, creating a stunning display of blue ice. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear with good traction, especially during the colder months, as the paths can be icy. A restroom and parking area are available near the falls.
