Originally a local access road, it was designated as a national highway in 1974. Consisting of 362 steps, this unique spot offers a memorable experience as you ascend or descend. Known locally as the "Ajisai (Hydrangea) Road", the path is especially beautiful during the blooming season. Be aware that the route is closed during winter. It's a must-see for those exploring the northern tip of Aomori Prefecture.
