Horikawa Bridge, also known locally as Otome Bridge, is a historic stone bridge in Miyazaki Prefecture's Nichinan City, specifically in the Aburatsu district. Constructed in 1903 by stonemason Bunkichi Ishii, it spans the Horikawa Canal and once served as the approach to Ahezu Shrine. The bridge is known for its beautiful stone masonry and arched design, and it was also a filming location for the movie "Tora-san's Youth." Visitors can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the canal and surrounding historic buildings. A small museum with free parking is located nearby.
