Located atop Mt. Hodo in Nagatoro, Saitama, the Mt. Hodo Small Animal Park offers a delightful experience for animal lovers of all ages. Accessible via the Mt. Hodo Ropeway and a short walk, this park is home to a variety of animals, including monkeys, deer, llamas, rabbits, and more. Visitors can enjoy feeding some of the animals, making it a memorable experience for children. The park is relatively small, allowing for a visit in about an hour, but be prepared for some uphill walking. Open year-round, it's a great addition to a visit to the Mt. Hodo area, especially during the plum blossom season. Admission is ¥420 for adults and ¥210 for children.
