The Kofu Bell of Time is a reconstructed clock tower located in the Koshu Yumekoji area, a charming district that recreates the townscape of old Kofu. Originally built around 1670, the bell tower served to mark time for the city until 1872. The current tower, rebuilt in 2013, faithfully replicates the original based on historical records. Visitors can press a button to hear the bell chime, offering a glimpse into the past. Situated near Kofu Station, it's an easily accessible landmark and a great spot to experience a touch of traditional atmosphere while exploring the shops and cafes of Koshu Yumekoji.
