Sennindo is a historic hall said to have been visited by Minamoto no Yoshitsune and his entourage on their way to Hiraizumi. Featured in Basho's 'Oku no Hosomichi,' it's a highlight of the Mogami River cruise. Accessible only by boat, specifically the Yoshitsune Roman sightseeing cruise, this small hall is known as a power spot for matchmaking. Visitors can also sample the historic 'Sennindo's Clear Water,' which is said to have been enjoyed by both Minamoto no Yoshitsune and Matsuo Basho.
