Ajisai-en is located within the Hikari Sports Park in Yamaguchi Prefecture, offering a stunning display of hydrangeas. With approximately 15,000 shrubs of 30 different varieties, including gakuajisai and Lorelei, the garden is a sight to behold. The best time to visit is during the Ajisai Festival, held from late May to the end of June, when the hydrangeas are in full bloom and illuminated at night until 9 PM.
