Located in the Hoshino area of Karuizawa, the Karuizawa Kogen Church is a historic wooden church renowned since the Taisho era for hosting the "Artistic Freedom Education Lecture Series." Known for its warm, wooden construction, the church offers a picturesque setting, especially during the fall foliage season when the surrounding trees are ablaze with color. The church is located within the grounds of the Hotel Bleston Court, near the Stone Church. Note that the church is a popular wedding venue, so access may be limited during ceremonies. Christmas season features special illuminations. It's accessible by car from the Usui Karuizawa IC or by bus from Naka-Karuizawa Station.
