Shotokuji Onsen Hatsuhana is a hot spring facility and restaurant located in Yamanashi City. Known for its naturally warm (36°C) alkaline spring water, it's perfect for long, relaxing soaks. A unique feature is the on-site restaurant specializing in fresh eel dishes, prepared using the very waters of the hot spring. The restaurant also offers other Japanese dishes using local ingredients. Located amid orchards, it's a great stop after fruit picking. Open from 10:00 to 21:30 (last entry at 21:00), closed on Thursdays and during the New Year holidays. Easily accessible by car, or a 20-minute walk from Kasugai-cho Station.
