The Mt. Myojingatake Course is a popular hiking route that starts near Saijoji Temple and leads through Mt. Myojin and Mt. Myojo before descending to Miyagino. Mt. Myojogatake, also known as Daimonjiyama, offers scenic views and is famous for the Daimonji fire festival held annually on August 16th. The trail provides varied landscapes, from serene forests to open grasslands with panoramic vistas of Mt. Fuji, Mt. Kintoki, and the Hakone mountains. The best time to visit is during clear weather to fully appreciate the views. The course is generally well-maintained, but some sections can be challenging, so appropriate footwear is recommended.
