Kozo-ji Temple, also known as Takakura Kannon, is a serene temple nestled in the inland part of Kisarazu. Legend says that the temple is connected to Fujiwara Kamatari. The main hall is built in a unique elevated style, and visitors can explore the "Kannon Pure Land Tour" underneath the hall for a small fee to view the hidden Kannon statue. Don't miss the Enmusubi Jizo (matchmaking Jizo) and the stepping stone garden that offers a Buddhist experience. Located a 25-minute bus ride from Kisarazu Station, it's best to check the bus schedule in advance.
