Though the main hall is currently temporary due to past disasters, the temple is renowned for its collection of over 1,500 stone statues of Buddhist saints within a cave on the grounds. Visitors should be prepared for a challenging hike with many stairs, making sneakers a must. Key attractions include the giant Buddha statue, the Hundred-Shaku Kannon, and "Hell Peek" (Jigoku Nozoki) offering thrilling views. The temple is accessible by bus from Hota Station.
