Mount Inazumi, standing at 404 meters, has been revered as a sacred mountain of rice for centuries. The summit offers panoramic views of Kanonji City and the Ariakehama coastline. A steep, 270-step stone staircase leads to the top, where you'll find the 'Yurugi Rock,' a boulder that moves but doesn't fall when pushed. On clear days, you can even spot Mount Ishizuchi in the distance. The mountain is also the site of the annual Spring Festival at Inazumi Shrine, held on the second Saturday and Sunday of April, where participants carry a portable shrine up the mountain path. The mountaintop Takaya Shrine, known as the 'gateway to the sky,' offers stunning views of the city and Seto Inland Sea.
