The Yubari Rokumeikan, formerly the Hokutan Shikanotani Club, is a rare example of traditional Japanese architecture in Hokkaido, constructed in 1913 by Hokkaido Tanko Kisen Co. (Hokutan). Once a guesthouse for dignitaries, including the Emperor and Empress, it offers a glimpse into a bygone era of elegance. Visitors can explore the meticulously preserved interior, admire the decorations and furnishings, and stroll through the beautiful gardens. Note that the facility is currently closed. Admission is ¥500 for adults and ¥250 for elementary school students.
