Megumi no Yu

Overview

Megumi no Yu is a public bathhouse in Isobe Onsen, known as the birthplace of the onsen mark. Conveniently located a 5-minute walk from Isobe Station, it offers an affordable and relaxing experience for both locals and tourists. Enjoy the indoor and outdoor baths, including a sauna and a unique sand salt bath (reservations required). The facility also features a spacious relaxation area and a restaurant serving casual meals. Open from 10 AM to 9 PM (last entry at 8 PM), it's an ideal spot to unwind after exploring the Usui Pass or other local attractions. Note that the facility is closed on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month (or the following day if a public holiday falls on a Tuesday) and during the New Year period (December 30th, 31st, and January 1st).
