Atagawa Beach (YOU Yu Beach) is a popular destination in Atagawa Onsen, easily accessible with a 10-minute walk from Izu-Atagawa Station. During the summer, it's a lively spot for swimming and sunbathing, with seasonal beach houses adding to the fun. Even outside of swimming season, the beach is well-maintained and perfect for a stroll, offering stunning views of the Izu Islands on clear days. Note that the waves can be strong, so caution is advised when swimming. The beach is open from early July to late August, making it an ideal summer getaway.
