The Mt. Yahiko Skyline is a scenic 16.8km driving route leading to the summit of Mt. Yahiko, offering stunning views of the Echigo Plain, the Sea of Japan, and Sado Island. Easily accessible by car, the summit features Yahiko Mountain Summit Park, complete with a restaurant and the Panorama Tower, a 100-meter rotating observation tower. It's a popular spot for sunset viewing and offers dazzling night views of the Echigo Plain, recognized as one of Japan's top 100 night views and a Japan Night View Heritage Site. Open from April to November (subject to snow conditions), the skyline provides a memorable journey to panoramic vistas. Note that the road conditions are not ideal, so drive safely.
