Visit the grave of Kotoku Shusui, a prominent figure in Japan's socialist movement during the Meiji era. Born in Nakamura (present-day Shimanto City), Shusui was executed in 1911 as a leader of the High Treason Incident. His grave is located in a communal cemetery near the Nakamura District Public Prosecutor's Office. Though once considered a political offender, Shusui's honor has been restored, and his grave is now carefully maintained. The site is a place of reflection on his life and ideas. The grave is a 5-minute drive from Nakamura Station on the Tosa Kuroshio Railway.
