River Valley
Rairaikyo Gorge, located in the Akiu Onsen area near Sendai, is a picturesque ravine carved by the Natori River. A 650-meter walking trail runs along the gorge, offering views of unique rock formations and seasonal foliage. A notable feature is the heart-shaped hollow near Nozokibashi Bridge, known as the "Lover's Sanctuary." The area is accessible year-round and is especially popular during the autumn season.
