Scenic Coast
Located in Imabetsu Town on the Tsugaru Peninsula, Cape Takanosaki offers sweeping views of the Sea of Japan, with vistas extending to Hokkaido, Cape Tappi, and the Shimokita Peninsula on clear days. The cape features a distinctive red-and-white lighthouse and two red footbridges—Shiosai Bridge and Nagisa Bridge—that connect rocky outcrops, providing visitors with panoramic coastal scenery. The area is part of the Tsugaru Quasi-National Park and is popular for coastal walks, fishing, and photography. The beach is reachable by bus (25 min) from Imabetsu station.
