Art meets Nature

Located in Tatebayashi, the Gunma Museum of Art centers on the theme of "Nature and Humanity," with a focus on modern sculpture. It features works by François Pompon, including a replica of his studio, and a sleek glass building designed by Teiichi Takahashi. A woodland sculpture trail extends the experience outdoors. Opened in 2001, the museum won the Murano Togo Prize in 2004 for its architectural design.
