Summer in Bloom
Each summer, the Tsunan Sunflower Field in Niigata transforms into a radiant sea of yellow, with approximately 500,000 sunflowers blooming across 4 hectares. The fields are sown in stages to extend the viewing period from late July to mid-August, allowing visitors to enjoy the blossoms at their peak. Highlights include a towering sunflower maze, an observation deck offering panoramic views, and lively food stalls. Admission is free, and the site is accessible via a 15-minute taxi ride from JR Tsunan Station. 25 min walk from the nearest bus stop.
