Majestic Wonder
Akiu Great Falls (Akiu Ōtaki) is a 55-meter-high waterfall located in Taihaku-ku, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. Designated as a National Place of Scenic Beauty, it is one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls. The falls are accessible via a short walk through a forested area, leading to an observation platform. Visitors can also descend to the base for a closer view.
