Lake Reflection
Mount Akagi, one of Gunma's Three Mountains of Jomo and a 100 famous mountain of Japan, surrounds the caldera Lake Onuma, offering stunning nature and seasonal beauty. In autumn, vibrant red and yellow foliage reflects on the lake, while the grasslands at Kakumanbuchi add unique charm. Highlights include Akagi Shrine, perched on an island in Lake Onuma, and activities like hiking, cycling, camping, and hot springs. Akagi Nanmen Senbonzakura at the foot of the mountain is worth the treck in spring to see the cherry blossoms.
