5km Sakura Stroll
Natsui Senbon-Zakura, located in Ono Town, Fukushima Prefecture, is renowned for its stunning display of cherry blossoms. Approximately 1,000 Somei Yoshino cherry trees line both banks of the Natsui River, stretching over a 5-kilometer promenade. Planted in 1975 to commemorate river restoration efforts, this scenic walkway offers visitors a tranquil setting to enjoy the blossoms, especially during mid to late April when they are in full bloom. The area is easily accessible, being just a 5-minute walk from Natsui Station on the JR Ban-etsu East Line, and parking is available for those traveling by car.
