Scenic Gorge
Takatsudo Gorge in Midori City, Gunma Prefecture, is a picturesque valley carved by the Watarase River. Often referred to as the "Yabakei of the Kanto region," it offers stunning seasonal scenery, especially during autumn when the foliage turns vibrant shades of red and gold. A 500-meter walking trail connects Hanetaki Bridge and Takatsudo Bridge, providing panoramic views of the gorge and unique rock formations like the "Gorilla Rock." Visitors can also enjoy views of the retro Watarase Keikoku Railway trains passing through the area.
