Hitachi Seaside Park in Hitachinaka is a 190-hectare coastal park renowned for its seasonal floral displays. In spring, 4.5 million nemophila (baby blue eyes) bloom across Miharashi Hill, creating a sea of blue, while autumn features vibrant red kochia bushes. The park also offers tulip gardens, daffodils, cycling trails, and an amusement area with a Ferris wheel. Nearby, Sakatsura Isozaki Shrine, established in 856, is dedicated to the deity Sukunabikona and is known for its serene forested approach and ocean views. The shrine is accessible via a 10-minute walk from Isozaki Station.
