1,500 year-old tree
Legend has it that Emperor Keitai planted this 1,500-year-old cherry tree, which changes color from pink in bud, to white in full bloom, and pale ink as it falls. Standing at 17.3 meters tall with a trunk circumference of 9.4 meters, it is a nationally designated natural monument.
